Job Description
The main goal of our team is to make sure we sell the right products for the right price.
- Optimize our Assortment: conduct analyses and optimize the product assortment, ensuring the right mix of products to meet demand and maximize profit. Utilise internal and external data to make data-driven assortment decisions;
- Implement a Winning Pricing Strategy: build and implement a holistic pricing strategy for thousands of SKUs across markets and categories;
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: work closely with replenishment, commercial, marketing and supply chain teams to align our strategies with business objectives;
- Monitor and Report Key Metrics: track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to basket size/composition, margin, category penetration and more, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement;
- Develop and Implement Improvement Initiatives: Set up and lead strategic initiatives that increase basket size, increase penetration, improve margin, and reduce waste or make processes more efficient.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive projects forward, take full ownership of tasks, and deliver results in a timely manner;
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Economics, Econometrics or related fields;
- Initial work experience in a data-driven business environment such as analytics, controlling, business development or business intelligence;
- Business fluency in English (German or Dutch is a plus);
- Excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL and Excel / Gsheets (Python is a plus);
- You can simplify complex analytical concepts and explain them clearly and concisely to various stakeholders;
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or similar;
- Hands-on team player with a demonstrated ability to think outside the box and a nothing-is-impossible mindset.
