About the Role
We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Video Editor with strong motion graphics skills to lead the creation of compelling video content that elevates our brand and connects with our global audience. This role is perfect for someone who combines narrative vision, technical expertise, and creative flair, and who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the video production process end-to-end, from ideation and scripting to editing and delivery.
- Design and animate motion graphics using Adobe After Effects to enhance video content and elevate visual storytelling.
- Deep sensitivity to sound and music, with an ability to enhance storytelling through thoughtful sound design, pacing, and musical alignment. You understand how audio choices—rhythm, mood, and silence—can dramatically shape the emotional impact of a piece.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and content teams to deliver cross-platform visual campaigns.
- Mentor and support junior editors/designers, fostering a culture of creativity, growth, and high standards.
- Stay up to date with trends in video content, social platforms, and motion design to ensure fresh and innovative outputs.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion design.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Strong understanding of motion design principles, kinetic typography, transitions, and dynamic composition.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently, meet tight deadlines, and balance multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with creative and strategic teams in English and Spanish.
Bonus Points
- Experience creating social media video content, including vertical formats and platform-specific edits.
- Knowledge of 3D software such as Cinema 4D or Blender.
- Familiarity with audio post-production and color grading.
- Previous experience in creative agencies, studios, or post-production agencies, handling diverse brands and high-volume production.
