We’re looking for a sharp, strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a proven track record of driving partnerships from idea to execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on complexity, can build a compelling case with clarity and precision, and is motivated by making things happen. You'll help expand our global footprint, drive commercial outcomes, and position MUBI at the forefront of film and media culture.
Where You’ll Have Impact:
Lead and execute high-impact commercial partnerships across distribution, technology, and brand collaborations
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through rigorous market, industry, and competitor analysis
Build compelling business cases and negotiate deal terms with senior external stakeholders
Clearly communicate the rationale and expected outcomes of each initiative across internal and external audiences
Work closely with the CEO, CPO, and cross-functional teams to align initiatives with company-wide objectives
Develop financial models, forecasts, and strategic materials to support executive decision-making and partner discussions
Support investor communications and fundraising activities through insights and presentation materials
Track KPIs and performance metrics to assess impact and inform future strategy
What You’ll Bring
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills; able to distil complex problems into clear, actionable recommendations supported by data and logic
5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategy within media, technology, or adjacent sectors
A proven track record of owning and closing high-value deals with a clear articulation of your individual contributions and measurable outcomes
Confident communicator with the ability to craft concise, persuasive narratives for a range of stakeholders
Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong capability with data-driven models, decks, and strategic analyses
Experience working with or supporting C-level executives on high-stakes initiatives
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Commercial instincts and negotiation experience; able to evaluate deal structures and push for optimal outcomes
Comfortable being challenged; able to defend ideas with clarity, adapt when needed, and maintain focus under pressure
Proactive, collaborative, and highly self-directed
A genuine interest in film is a plus, but more important is your strategic mindset, intellectual rigor, and ability to deliver
This is an opportunity to help shape the future of a global film company that values originality, depth, and bold thinking. If you’re looking to work closely with senior leadership on strategic, high-impact projects, and you thrive on smart, creative problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you
