About the role
Our Creative team is looking for a Creative Image Retoucher with a passion for film who can work across disciplines including print, digital and video to join us at our London HQ. You will be joining an award-winning team responsible for creating image assets for MUBI film releases and brand campaigns. You will be working closely with our in-house designers as well as cross-functional teams to produce world-class creative.
Where you’ll have impact:
Performing professional image retouching and compositing for use across film and brand campaigns
Collaborating closely with the design teams to develop visual concepts
Enhancing image quality and creating visually compelling image compositions from multiple screengrabs, photographs and/or stock image sources
Colour correction and grading to achieve visual consistency across formats and outputs
Using AI-based image tools to support creative workflows and enhance production efficiency, with a strong understanding of their capabilities and limitations
Operating effectively in a fast-paced environment, proactively identifying and resolving image-related issues under tight deadlines
What you will bring:
3+ years of professional experience in creative production environment
Expert-level skills in Adobe Photoshop
Strong technical skills in image retouching, colour grading, and compositing
Experience using AI-based tools in a professional capacity to enhance image creation and editing, integrating them into creative workflows
Solid understanding of image production techniques across digital and print formats
Excellent attention to detail, with a meticulous approach to pixel accuracy and visual polish
Solid visual judgement with a good eye for composition, lighting, and brand alignment
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
A team player with the ability to take initiative and work independently when needed
A flexible mindset and openness to creative experimentation across different types of projects
(Desired) Basic drawing or painting skills to support concept visualisation or image reconstruction
