Job Description
Do you want to work with a modern tech stack and clean architecture, with zero legacy code to maintain?
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team and work on software projects tailored to the specific needs of our clients. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle—from concept and architecture to deployment—building robust, scalable systems using modern technologies and practices. And no, we don't have the legacy code!
This role offers the opportunity to design and implement solutions with real-world impact, leveraging Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and collaborating closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
Our core tech stack includes PHP 8, Symfony 6, JavaScript, React, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
The essence of your role
- Design, develop, and maintain mostly backend services using PHP (Symfony and API Platform)
- Work with MongoDB and other databases to design efficient and scalable data models
- Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes
- Ensure cloud-native deployment and scalability using AWS infrastructure
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, actively participating in design discussions, code reviews, and agile development ceremonies
Qualifications
This is what you need to succeed
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development with strong proficiency in PHP, particularly with the Symfony framework
- Practical experience with React, either in a production environment or through personal projects
- Hands-on knowledge of MongoDB, including data modeling and performance tuning
- Strong grasp of software architecture concepts and Domain-Driven Design
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
