You’ll have the opportunity to lead our AI Billing Agent team within Nelly's newly launched AI division. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a team of highly skilled engineers and ensuring your team delivers outstanding results in both technology and business outcomes.

Joining us, you will- Lead, inspire and grow a high-performing team of 3–6 AI & software engineers.
- Collaborate with the product manager to define the roadmap and priorities for your team, while coordinating with dependencies across the company.
- Drive technical and data strategy topics to establish a strong foundation for AI success.
- Own the quality and security of the software and data within your team, and drive initiatives to continuously improve it.
- Your responsibilities will roughly be divided as follows: 40% delivery, 30% people management, and 30% hands-on technical work.
- Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Nelly’s engineering leadership team.
- Be part of the recruitment pipeline.
What you’ll bring- 2+ years of engineering management experience and 6+ years of overall experience in the industry.
- A strong technical background with hands-on experience in building AI products.
- Experience with cloud native development, ideally AWS.
- Strong applied ML fundamentals alongside theoretical experience.
- A deep understanding of data and software engineering processes and the ability to set up a team for success.
- Empathy and excellent communication skills.
- Experience at developing, mentoring and growing a high performing team.
