We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Senior KYC Analyst to join our growing KYC Operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in KYC who is ready to step into a broader role, combining casework with process improvements, informal coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll take the lead on more complex onboarding cases, help shape how we train and support the team, and contribute to projects that enhance our operational efficiency. You’ll also act as a key support to the Team Lead, helping to maintain team momentum and quality during busy periods or absences.
This is a high-impact, visible role. Ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of operational depth and collaborative, team-oriented problem solving.
Your responsibilities
Own complex casework: Process 50–70 KYC cases/month, pivoting to more advanced and borderline applications post 3-month ramp-up.
Review and assess EDDs: Support quality assurance by providing feedback and second eyes on Enhanced Due Diligence cases.
Mentor & support: guide junior and mid-level team members; help onboard new joiners and share knowledge regularly.
Improve how we work: Identify process or documentation gaps, and contribute to improving our KYC knowledge base and internal materials.
Lead small projects: Ownership of scoped projects e.g. training documentation, process improvements, or tooling.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work with Compliance, Product, and our partners on joint initiatives and process alignment.
Step in when needed: Act as a backup for the Team Lead, making judgment calls, unblocking work, and keeping things running smoothly.
About you
2+ years of experience in KYC onboarding or operations, ideally in a fintech or fast-moving regulated environment.
A solid grasp of KYC/AML regulation, particularly for Germany (Netherlands experience is a bonus).
Confidence and clarity in managing more nuanced or complex KYC cases, you know when to escalate and when to make a decision.
An interest in helping others grow: you've mentored peers, trained new joiners, or shared knowledge in ways that stick.
A proactive mindset, you don’t wait to be asked to improve things.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, both when documenting edge cases and when collaborating cross-functionally.
Comfortable managing your own workflow, and excited by opportunities to contribute.
