The Role:
As the Transaction Analyst you will work closely with the Transaction Manager & Chief Risk Officer within the Risk team to qualify opportunities, undertake commercial analysis, issue term sheets, liaise with external stakeholders (including legal advisors) and ensure the timely execution of new deals. The role will also support existing client requests.
This role is cross functional where you will also work in partnership with our Go-to-Market and Operations functions to onboard new clients and close deals.
The role will also include monitoring and analysis of publicly available sector activity in order to provide insight into internal decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse client financials and commercial positioning in order to issue term sheets.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that transactions are closed efficiently. Keep stakeholders to agreed timelines.
Provide support to the Transaction Manager and the Customer Success team, including by working closely with clients to create a seamless onboarding experience.
Ensure internal pipeline tracking tools are updated promptly to aid decision making and the allocation of internal resources. Provide client revenue forecasts.
Provide market updates on trends in the drinks industry, including company updates. Analyse market trends in order to assist with internal commercial and risk decision-making.
Work with the Product and Tech teams to improve and build automation into the client workflow. Use low and no code solutions where possible.
Provide general analytical bandwidth for the leadership team, including medium term liquidity forecasting (e.g. on the basis of expected deal flow) and off-platform dashboards (primarily using AWS Quicksight).
Key Requirements:
1 - 2 years previous experience working in a Finance / Risk Function.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong quantitative, analytical and presentation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Curious individual with strong critical thinking skills who enjoys problem-solving.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
