We’re looking for a motivated, results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting Opportunity targets. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospects, from the first contact until you hand the Opportunity off to Sales. What you will do :
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns into sales opportunities
- Reach out to potential clients via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, social media, and direct mail
- Respond to inbound enquiries (web forms, downloads, email, chat, inbound calls)
- Identify client needs and recommend the right products/services
- Proactively research new business opportunities (companies, RFPs)
- Arrange meetings or calls between prospects and our Solutions Consultants
- Keep our CRM (HubSpot) accurate and up to date with contacts and activities
- Drive your own “freestyle” prospecting initiatives
- Record activities and results, attending weekly sales and company meetings
What we are looking for :
- At least two-year experience in a BDR or SDR or similar roles with deep experience in a variety of pipeline building methods including cold calls
- A great track record of achieving monthly targets
- Solid experience using CRM software, Hupspot preferred
- Deep understanding of sales and marketing performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging messaging and discovery conversations
Desirable Experience -Its not a deal breaker, but ideally you will have:
- Ideally you will have experience within software companies offering complex or ERP (enterprise resource planning) products
