We’re growing fast and building a high-impact outbound sales function focused on strategic SMB and midmarket merchants. This is a pivotal role for an experienced Outbound Sales Team Lead to shape the UK outbound sales playbook and set the benchmark for other markets.
You’ll lead and inspire a talented team of Account Executives, bringing clarity of vision, outbound expertise, and the drive to hit ambitious revenue and activation targets. With the budget, leadership backing, and a motivated team, you’ll have all you need to make a big impact.
Working closely with the Head of Sales UK, you’ll refine strategy, build scalable processes, and turn the UK outbound model into a blueprint for global growth. If you thrive on building and enabling high performing teams, and want to see your work ripple across markets, we want to meet you.
🎯 What You’ll Be Doing
💼 Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 5-10 Account Executives.
🧭 Refine outbound strategy: from account sourcing and territory mapping to messaging, cadences, and sequencing.📊 Use data-driven insights to coach your team, forecast results, and influence resource allocation.🤝 Foster a team culture based on trust, ownership, open communication, and celebrating successes while learning from challenges.🧑🏫 Deliver hands-on coaching through live-call feedback, pipeline reviews, forecasts, and regular 1:1s etc.🧠 Grow your team by hiring, onboarding, and developing talent while encouraging curiosity, ownership, and collaboration.🗣️ Champion the customer voice to improve sales interactions and influence product direction.
👀 You’ll Be a Great Fit If You…
✅ Have 5+ years in outbound sales, and 1-2+ years leading or coaching high-performing sales reps.
✅ Know outbound inside-out: cold calling, sequencing, objection handling, territory planning - you’ve done it and taught it.✅ Are a natural coach: you prioritize your team’s development and champion their growth.✅Enabler of high performance: You know how to leverage team’s strengths, support their development when they’re struggling, and create an environment where the whole team can thrive.✅Turn opportunity into action: You make the mission real for your team, fuelling their motivation with a clear vision and contagious enthusiasm.✅ Think strategically and systematically: you consider resource planning, process improvement, and what is needed to achieve ambitious targets✅ Are excited by the idea of building and being entrepreneurial, and turning a successful UK model into a global one✅ Bonus: Experience in SaaS, payments, or fintech - and familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, or Lusha
