Your mission
- You contribute to the design and further development of our platform's backend architecture, with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and long-term maintainability, as we continue to scale and refine the system.
- Collaborate closely with product and business teams to turn complex requirements into robust, production-ready backend solutions.
- You are thrilled to take ownership of solving challenging technical problems with high-quality, pragmatic code, collaborating closely with the team to deliver impactful solutions—while maintaining a strong focus on individual contributions.
- Drive the continuous improvement of our engineering practices, architecture, tooling, and infrastructure.
- Contribute to innovation by exploring new technologies, initiating product ideas, and building integrations with strategic external partners.
Your profile
- You hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field – ideally with a Master's degree.
- You bring at 7+ years of relevant experience in backend development, ideally across multiple roles in startups, scale-ups or big tech environments.
- You enjoy working end-to-end: from shaping ideas and architecture to implementing production-ready solutions – writing clean, modular, and well-tested code.
- You have deep expertise in Python and experience with scalable microservice architectures and modern development/deployment tools.
- You are fluent in English at C2 level (spoken and written); German is a plus, but not a requirement.
- You are willing to work from our Munich office at least two times per week.

Our solution is the digital, independent and legally secure platforn for orders, delivery notes, and invoices. This will allow us to save >10bn € of costs and several million tons of CO2 in Germany alone. We are an passionate team of 30 with a can-do attitude and strong action bias, working out ouf our beautiful office at Goetheplatz in central Munich.
