We are looking for an Application Manager who is a true techno-functional hybrid—someone who cansupport business operations, collaborate with stakeholders, and also contribute hands-on to development and system improvements. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, functional understanding, and business acumen.
Job Description
As a hybrid techno-functional Application Manager, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our technical and business teams. This dynamic role involves maintaining and enhancing Oracle Retail systems, performing hands-on development (SQL/PLSQL and Oracle DB), troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and efficient ERP operations. You will translate technical insights into actionable business solutions while directly contributing to system development and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
1. System Management & Development
- Optimize and maintain Oracle Retail systems to meet evolving business requirements.
- Conduct hands-on development and configuration using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, and RDS.
- Resolve technical and functional issues promptly to ensure business continuity.
- Integrate new modules or enhancements, focusing on seamless system performance and data integrity.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Partner with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve ERP workflows, automate processes, and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Lead small strategic initiatives or module implementations from requirement gathering through post-go-live support.
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes, best practices, and support guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Oracle ERP systems, with a preference for exposure to modules such as RMS/MFCS, RFI/RICS, or POM.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (including Oracle APEX).
- Familiarity with Oracle Retail applications and ERP support processes.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) technologies, including Document Understanding.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Google Cloud data tools (e.g., BigQuery).
- Demonstrated strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to translate technical insights into actionable business solutions.
- A self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and drive projects end-to-end.
