We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our Finance Operations team in our Berlin office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance, accounting, and operations. The ideal candidate will support various financial functions, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Actively resolve customer requests concerning international billing and payment topics.
- Payment Management: Manage customer and supplier payments using third-party tools.
- Daily Operations: Support the day-to-day management of payment operations, including reconciliation, investigating payment discrepancies, and preparing and validating monthly closing reports.
- Process Improvement: Research and assist in improving existing processes and operational workflows.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Training & Documentation: Participate in internal training sessions and create internal documentation and training materials.
About You
- Availability: Available to work 20-40 hours per week with flexible scheduling andffhome office options.
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of customer service tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
- Experience: Previous internship or work experience in finance or payment operations is advantageous.
- Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
