The Role in a Nutshell:
We are seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to support our operations in Austria. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with trade regulations while also assisting with organizational, administrative, and communication tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, well-organized, and possess excellent communication and coordination skills.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Act as the primary Trade Compliance Specialist for our Austrian entity, ensuring adherence to applicable trade laws and regulations.
Provide administrative support related to trade compliance, including scheduling, correspondence, and data/document management.
Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing and archiving of trade-related documentation.
Organize and coordinate meetings, audits, and appointments, including calendar management.
Support internal and external communications related to trade compliance, including drafting reports, emails, and summaries.
Assist in preparing presentations, compliance reports, and internal documentation for management and regulatory purposes.
Collaborate with other departments to support seamless compliance and operational workflows.
Conduct research on trade compliance topics and regulatory developments as requested.
Facilitate communication with external stakeholders, such as customs authorities or regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, successful completion of a commercial academy, or equivalent higher education from a European institution
Certificate of Competence (Befähigungsnachweis)
Based in an EU country.
Proficient in both German and English.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
Familiarity with EU and Austrian trade laws or a strong willingness to learn.
