OVERVIEW:
Are you passionate about building high-impact products in the fast-moving world of FinTech?
We’re looking for an experienced and versatile Engineering Manager to lead a talented team focused on developing our platform and integrating it with key third-party partners — including payment processors, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) providers, Fraud Prevention services, Financial Data Platforms, and other FinTech innovators.
You’ll sit at the intersection of product, technology, and finance — shaping the strategy and execution behind mission-critical integrations that power our customer-facing features (real-time transaction processing, reporting portals, and more).
Working in a modern tech stack — including Java (Spring Boot), Python, AWS Lambdas, PostgreSQL, React.js, Node.js, and Next.js — you’ll play a key role in architectural decisions, delivery excellence, and team development.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Product & Architecture Leadership
- Lead, support, and grow a team of software engineers delivering both customer-facing and platform capabilities.
- Guide architecture and design across our self-serve customer portal, real-time transaction dashboards, and intelligent routing engine.
- Shape product thinking alongside Product and Design to ensure seamless, intuitive user experiences.
Integrations & Infrastructure
- Oversee third-party integrations with key FinTech partners.
- Ensure integrations are secure, performant, and scalable — from design through to production support.
- Champion engineering quality through architecture reviews, hands-on technical guidance, and best practices.
Team Delivery & Culture
- Foster a high-trust, inclusive, and continuously improving team environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in Product, Compliance, and Business to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Lead incident response, retrospectives, and process improvements with a focus on learning and operational excellence.
ABOUT YOU:
- A track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams to deliver complex real-time systems and third-party integrations.
- Experience guiding technical decisions, coaching engineers, and driving delivery in a fast-paced product environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with backend technologies such as Java (Spring Boot), Python, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native architecture.
- Exposure to frontend technologies such as React.js, Node.js, and Next.js is a plus — particularly in the context of building and scaling customer-facing products.
- Comfortable with modern DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Solid understanding of third-party APIs and secure data transmission (REST, SOAP, OAuth, etc.).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working cross-functionally and across time zones.
- Passionate about building a strong engineering culture through mentorship, ownership, and continuous improvement.
