The role
// We're looking for a Front-End Javascript developer with experience in core web technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.
As a contractor within the Justride team, you’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of several web applications that process over $1 billion in transactions annually. Our front-end stack primarily uses Vue, with some legacy code in Angular.
You’ll collaborate within a cross-functional product team alongside UX, design, and QA specialists to craft robust, reusable components. We value clean, maintainable code, and uphold best practices through thorough testing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

About You
A good command of the English language is required for this role, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and spoken English
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Skilled in using JavaScript component frameworks like Vue and Angular
Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, and usability, including building and testing applications to adhere to WCAG AA-Level compliance.
Experienced with client-side bundlers such as Vite, Webpack or Rollup
Committed to engaging within an active engineering community focused on improving development experiences for all.
Skilled in making pragmatic decisions and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Approachable, patient, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment
Passionate about maintaining technical quality and user-centred design
Champion of best practices across the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, automated testing, and operations
Nice to Have
Experience with hybrid web and mobile app development using Capacitor.JS, React Native or similar technologies.
Familiarity with native mobile technologies for both iOS and Android
Experience working with other programming languages like Java, Kotlin, or Swift
