Our Risk Management team is seeking a Working Student, Risk (f/m/d). This role will provide hands-on experience in Moss’s risk monitoring, controlling, and preventing risks. You will learn from the professionals with experience from leading banks and top-notch fintechs about best practices in risk management and card fraud.
In this role, you will support the team in managing risks daily; monitoring, measuring and mitigating risks, implementing risk controls, analyse data to prevent credit card fraud, and prepare risk reports. You will gain hands-on experience with various risk frameworks, risk control models, and data-driven decision-making; all while advancing your career in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
We are looking for someone who is interested in a working student role for at least 6 months (with a possibility to extend), starting immediately.
What you’ll be doing
No day is the same at Moss, but here’s an idea of what you could be doing day-to-day:
You create, review and update risk management reports
You review and monitor process workflows to assess internal control execution and efficiency over time.
You support us in the analysis for the management of all material risk types, in particular Credit Risk, Operational Risk and Liquidity Risk.
You analyse data and identify trends to improve the prevention models of our credit card fraud operations.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
Has a genuine interest in risk management topics and is eager to learn and develop knowledge in risk management practices.
Currently enrolled in the university in Germany, in Bachelor or Master studies, ideally focusing on Finance or similar field
Is fluent in English (C1)
