The role in a nutshell: This role will be responsible for end-to-end Accounting, bookkeeping along with Payroll process. You will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, employee tax calculations, vendor/customer reconciliations, and managing accounts payable/receivable. You'll handle GST/TDS filings, bank reconciliations, and maintain books in SUN system. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. How you will make a difference: Process and review Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions in compliance with internal controls and policies. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. Assist with intercompany reconciliations, coordinating with internal teams across regions. Support the month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing relevant schedules, journal entries, and reports. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in GL postings, accruals, and adjustments. Work closely with Group Accounting, local finance teams, and external auditors as needed. Maintain and update SOPs and accounting documentation for assigned processes. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and automation projects to streamline accounting operations. What will give you an advantage: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter or similar qualification preferred). 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a global or shared services environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.). Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
