We help companies get compensation right.
What we get paid at work has a massive impact on our lives, and it’s one of the biggest factors in hiring and retaining talent - and yet so many companies struggle to get it right. They simply have no choice but to rely on poor data and unsophisticated tools for their pay decisions. That’s why we created Ravio.
We help many of the world’s most innovative and ambitious companies build stronger teams and reach their goals through better compensation. Our real-time data platform brings compensation into the modern age with clarity and transparency.
We’re passionate about ensuring everyone is paid what they deserve, no matter their background or circumstances. We believe that when compensation is done right, everyone wins.
Ravio is growing fast, which means you can too. Joining a startup in the early days and scaling it into a global product is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences a career can offer. If that sounds exciting to you, you’re in the right place.
Who we’re looking for
As a Senior Product Designer, you will be expected to:
Own design processes - Lead end-to-end design processes by creating prototypes, testing viability, conducting UX research, testing the product, supporting launch, and continuously iterating on feedback
Work closely with all teams - Partner with Product to identify pain points and prioritise roadmaps, iterate with Engineering to make pragmatic design tradeoffs, and collaborate with Commercial to ensure successful feature launches
Innovate with elegant designs - Create simple design solutions for complex customer problems, build an intuitive and delightful UX based on innovative design patterns, and advance the quality and scalability of our design system
Build a customer-centric product - View Ravio through the eyes of our customers by understanding their pain points, needs, workflows, and expectations. Conduct interviews and feedback sessions alongside Product and Commercial teams.
You’ll be a great fit for the role if you have / Your key skills and experience
5+ years in software product design roles, currently working in a senior design role. Bonus points for SaaS experience.
A full-stack designer; whilst you may have a specialism, you’re an experienced expert on all things design from research and testing, to Figma and design systems, to the latest design thinking and trends.
Experience working with high velocity product and engineering teams. We ship fast.
Comfortable speaking to users, and effective at gleaning the insights you need to develop a delightful product.
You enjoy obsessing over small details to take designs to the next level, and zooming out to understand and solve bigger picture problems.
Your best work is world class. You love, live and breathe design - you can’t turn your design eye off, you see it in everything you do.
Whilst you might not know much about compensation yet, you back yourself to rapidly upskill and learn about a new domain and develop a close understanding and empathy with our users.
Collaborative and low ego - just like the rest of the team. You enjoy receiving feedback on designs from colleagues and the challenge of iterating and polishing until you end up with something truly delightful.
Similarly, you’re great at discussing and giving feedback to fellow designers and other team members about designs, ways of working and more.
Design at Ravio in 2025
At Ravio we care about design a whole lot more than your average software company. And we put our money where our mouth is - right from when we founded Ravio we’ve had a high ratio of designers to engineers and product managers.
Hiring a Senior Product Designer is a continuation of our focus and investment in design. Your design work will be a mixture of creating totally new product areas from scratch, and taking our existing modules to new levels. And you’ll be working alongside many accomplished and world class teammates, who are energised by the work they do and have a high bar for themselves and their colleagues.
There’s a lot happening at Ravio right now. We’ve just raised our Series A led by tier 1 US investors Spark Capital, and have acquired the benchmarking business of our competitor - Compete. We’ve got new joiners starting almost every week, and we’re rapidly expanding outside of our core markets in Europe.
We’re passionate about creating the best-looking and easiest to use product in our category. We’re already considered by many to be the best-designed product in our space, but we know (and can’t help but see!) there’s a whole lot more we can do.
