About the Role:
We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing team at 9amHealth. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our market presence by identifying and engaging potential partners, creating innovative opportunities, and driving strategic growth initiatives. This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives on building meaningful relationships, influencing business decisions, and contributing to a mission that’s transforming the way people manage chronic health conditions.
What you’ll do:
Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to build meaningful connections with potential partners through networking events, industry conferences, and cold outreach.
Drive the lead generation strategy, including identifying high value target markets and creating tailored approaches to secure meetings with decision makers.
Work collaboratively with the sales team to design sales processes and frameworks, guiding leads through the pipeline.
Analyze inbound leads from marketing campaigns, events, and website inquiries, evaluating their fit and providing strategic recommendations for engagement.
Leverage HubSpot CRM to track interactions, manage lead statuses, and ensure accurate deal routing while following established best practices.
Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitive developments, and regulatory changes to proactively identify new business opportunities and recommend strategic adjustments.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing market insights, customer feedback, and innovative ideas that influence business planning and strategic decision making.
What you’ll bring:
Minimum Qualifications
Experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR), driving prospecting, outreach, and qualified lead generation
Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions on lead prioritization, outreach strategies, and potential opportunities.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in presenting recommendations to leadership teams.
A self starter who takes initiative, demonstrates ownership, and can work independently with minimal oversight.
Highly organized with excellent project management skills and the ability to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities.

Comfortable using tools like HubSpot and Google Workspace to stay organized and track progress.

We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including health, vision, and dental plans and 20 vacation days (for full-time employees). Our working model allows for flexibility for certain positions. Some employees work from home and some in the office, though we prefer candidates who can be based out of our San Diego office.
