The Role
We’re looking for a Founding Account Executive to join our commercial team and lead new client acquisition efforts in the UK. This is a critical on-the-ground role in London, where you’ll drive pipeline generation, execute strategic deals, and play a key part in shaping Ferovinum’s go-to-market approach. You’ll work directly with the Global Director, Commercial, and collaborate closely with product and leadership to refine our value proposition.
This role is ideal for a high-performing B2B sales leader with a proven track record in an early-stage FinTech or SaaS environment—especially one who thrives in the SME space and has experience selling into beverage or CPG verticals.
What You’ll Do
Drive New Client Acquisition: Prospect, qualify, and close SME customers across our key verticals: wine, spirits, RTD, and non-alcoholic brands.
Shape and Scale the Sales Motion: Build scalable sales processes and assets from the ground up—define stages, cadences, and metrics that enable repeatability.
Collaborate with Commercial Leadership: Work closely with the Global Director, Commercial, to test messaging, sharpen ICPs, and deliver feedback from the front lines.
Own and Influence Revenue: While new business generation is the primary focus, you’ll also be responsible for contributing to and exceeding quarterly revenue goals.
Customer-Centric Selling: Take a consultative approach—understand customer needs, tailor solutions, and deliver real value through our financing model.
Support Strategic Growth: Identify high-impact partnerships and growth opportunities that could expand Ferovinum’s footprint in the drinks industry.
What We’re Looking For
Proven success as a Founding AE or early sales hire in a B2B FinTech or SaaS company, ideally within SME finance, alternative lending, or supply chain finance.
Strong track record of new business acquisition and closing deals with SME or mid-market clients.
Domain experience in the beverage industry (wine, spirits, RTD, or non-alc) is a strong advantage.
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and execute with autonomy, urgency, and precision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—confident in engaging founders, CFOs, and supply chain leaders.
Experience building or influencing GTM strategy, CRM hygiene, and outbound sales ops.
Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
