We founded Holvi in 2011, in Helsinki. As self-employed people wading through oceans of paperwork, we noticed something funny going on – traditional banks were giving us the cold shoulder. Why not help ourselves? We asked. And so, with time and effort (and lots of coffee), we mastered small business finance – and Holvi was born.
Our vision is simple: Eliminate the distractions of financial admin and simplify work life, because running a business is hard enough. Small businesses shouldn’t have to worry about spreadsheets and lost receipts.

Right now, we’re looking for a Technical Analyst to join our team in Helsinki. If you want to help us make self-employment a little easier, Holvi is for you.
Eye on the analytics and finger on the pulse
As a Technical Analyst you’ll work with our product development teams. Your role is to keep the finger on the pulse: what generates customer feedback, what answers does the development team or the customer service need, and what is happening under the hood?
A typical day could see you:
Crunch product data – spot anomalies, track usage patterns and check product health indicators
Bug-hunt & log-dive – reproduce issues, read logs and flag root-causes for developers and customer service specialists
Research the requirements – track down and complement the missing regulatory or business detail in a specification to ensure the team is doing the thing right
Support in customer research – analyse data, gather user feedback and share insight
Support releases – run exploratory tests, identify regression risks and verify functionality post launch
This is for you if you:
1–3 years in a technical, QA or product-data role (or convincing side-projects / internships)
Comfortable with SQL and a scripting language
Able to read API docs, REST responses and basic database schemas
Curious problem-solver who enjoys untangling vague issues into reproducible steps
Clear communicator in English, happy to work with devs, designers and compliance alike
It's a plus if you:
Have experience with Looker studio or similar analytics toolset
Have professional exposure to fintech, payments or banking services
Have test automation, coding or software testing experience
Understand something about business finances
Know Finnish and / or German.
