Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Senior L&D Program Manager to join our Enablement & Academy team. In this role, you will own and orchestrate all company-wide learning and development initiatives for our 300+ employees.
You’ll align closely with stakeholders across departments, manage the central learning budget, and ensure we invest in high-impact initiatives - from soft skills development, technical upskilling, and language programs to leadership training, cross-functional collaboration workshops, and curated self-paced content libraries.
While you won’t deliver most training yourself, you’ll primarily select, work with, and manage external providers and platforms to ensure the right programs are in place to elevate the skills and capabilities of every Aleph Alpha team member.
Your Responsibilities
Company-Wide Program Ownership
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Aleph Alpha’s internal learning & development programs.
Define, implement, and evolve the overarching L&D strategy aligned with company growth and talent needs.
Stakeholder Engagement & Needs Analysis
Collaborate closely with department leaders (GTM, Product, Research, P&C, etc.) to identify team-specific learning needs.
Prioritize development initiatives that drive both business impact and employee growth.
Learning Budget Management
Centrally manage Aleph Alpha’s L&D budget and ensure cost-efficient use of resources.
Evaluate, select, and negotiate with external vendors (e.g., training providers, coaches, learning platforms).
Program Execution & Vendor Management
Coordinate onboarding, engagement, and quality assurance of external partners and facilitators.
Implement, and manage external learning solutions (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, Pluralsight, etc.).
Ensure compliance with internal procurement and vendor policies.
Measurement & Impact Analysis
Learning Operations & Communication
Maintain clear, learner-friendly communication around available learning opportunities.
Build lightweight processes for learning intake, tracking, and reporting.
Ensure that employees can easily discover and access relevant L&D resources.
Your Profile
Strong experience in L&D program management, HR development, people development, or related fields, ideally in a fast-paced tech or scale-up environment.
Proven experience managing learning budgets, external vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple complex programs simultaneously.
Experience setting up L&D operations and scalable internal learning infrastructures.
Excellent communication and influencing skills to align with diverse stakeholders across levels and functions.
A service-oriented mindset and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Solid understanding of technical roles (e.g., engineering, product, research) and their learning needs.
Ideally, a foundational understanding of GenAI concepts and enthusiasm for the future of AI.
Excellent English required, German is a plus.
Experience working with learning platforms, LMS tools, and HR systems is an advantage.
